Davenport High School Student Council recently received donations for tables and benches to be included in an outdoor area for the students to gather before school and at lunch. The area will be located on the west side of the Junior High Building. The Student Council would like to extend a big thank you for donations to the following; Sac & Fox Nation, Davenport Alumni Association, Orr Construction, Davenport Mother's Club, T & J Marketing, Bruce and Susan Snell, Davenport Chamber of Commerce, Orr Power Wash, Acord Transportation, Gene and Joyce Webb, C & B Stained Concrete, Joe and Leslie Wunderlich, Central Oklahoma Telephone Company, and Cactus Tanks. With the help of these sponsors Davenport Student Council has raised a total of $7000.00 for the completion of this project. Work will soon be underway on the installation of the tables and benches. The project should be completed by mid March.
